12. MöWathlon 2021 - Hessen

Möwathlon

The Möwathlon takes place in and around the city of Mörfelden-Walldorf, located in the German federal state of Hessen. Each year it is organized by Team Möwathlon, the triathlon subdivision of the sports club SKV Mörfelden.

In order to participate in the 13th ksp Möwathlon on 17 July 2022, you need to register on the official website. Here you can also find course maps and a time table for the day of the competition.

Distance

For the Möwathlon, there is only the sprint distance available. However, the triathlon can still be carried out as a relay race.

Swimming

The first discipline is swimming. Participants have to swim 500 m rounding a buoy in the bathing lake of the city, the Walldorfer Badesee.

Cycling

The bike course starts at the same place, the Walldorfer Badesee. The course leads over asphalt streets and loops one and a half times, adding up to approximately 20 km.

Running

Lastly, the running course leads from the SKV stadium into the forest. After about 5 km, the course loops back into the stadium, where the last few hundred meters follow the tracks of the stadium.
